Watchful will have a planned outage on April 3, 2017 in order to complete the previously announced migration to Amazon Web Services.
We expect the maintenance period to last no more than three hours. It is scheduled to begin at 7:00 UTC (2:00 AM Milwaukee, USA and 09:00 Lausanne, Switzerland).
To prepare for migration, be sure to:
- update all your sites to the latest Watchful Client (Version 1.12.1 for Joomla and 1.0.1 for WordPress)
- whitelist the new IP addresses (instructions)
During the maintenance period, a snapshot of all your website data and logs will be taken and stored securely. However, the entire Watchful service and website will be inaccessible. System notifications and scheduled backups will also be suspended.
Once the maintenance is complete, all scheduled monitoring tasks and backups will resume as normal.
Why use Watchful?
It takes you days to update all your sites.
You don’t check your websites for security problems or backups.
You don’t offer maintenance plans for your customers.
